The “Tough Problems Database”, is intended to germinate and coalesce the challenges in our field(s) for others to reference. The goal would be to have a database of extant research challenges in our areas of propulsion, that could guide program and student research topics and inform interested people outside the field.
To start collecting topics, we’ve set up a simple Google form to categorize challenges. Right now, these are very top level; there is no need to specify detailed physics, although that might come with time after the initial round.
